Craft Project

I combined two great ideas from two different blogs and came up with these cute little burp rags for a baby gift for a set of triplets at our church this weekend.
The burp rags are just two coordinating pieces of flannel sewn together, turned right-side out and then top stiched.

The flower embellishments are my version of the ones I posted about from Pink Paper Peppermints. She has a great tutorial at her site if you are interested in making your own.
Now I'm in the sewing mood again...so we'll see what I come up with next. The little wheel's are turning. Stay tuned.

I'm in the process of decorating some cloth diapers for spit up, and making some "wee-wee covers". My mil came up with these because I am right handed and she left, so she changes the baby opposite, and would use the cover up cloth to wipe the boy's face! Oops! So she cut some washcloths in half, and backed them with cute material for "wee-wee covers" so they'd be different. :)

Oh, and your burp cloths are SUPER cute!! I may have to try the button flower thing. Not for the boy I'm making things for now, but for something...

You did so the buttons securely right?! No choking hazards???

um... yeah, duh, it's late. SEW them securely.

So cute! If I were a baby, I wouldn't want to spit up on them.
